Miguel Isla Rodríguez

Miguel is Doctor in Veterinary Medicine and PhD in Veterinary Physiology and Pharmacology from the Complutense University of Madrid, and holds an Executive MBA from IESE - University of Navarra. He has also completed several Executive Management programs at HBS, INSEAD, IESE and, IE. After obtaining his PhD, Miguel worked as associate professor at the Veterinary Medicine Colleges of Lugo and Madrid and as a researcher at Iowa State University (USA).

He joined Pfizer in 1990 as Technical Manager Animal Health Spain. In 1995, was appointed Regional Manager -Spain, Italy and Portugal- of the Feed Additives Business Unit. In 1998, Miguel continued his career in Pfizer AH in New York headquarters as European Companion Animal Marketing Manager, US Companion Animal Marketing Director and latter, Global Marketing Director for Companion Animals.

In 2003 he moved to human health and returned to Spain as Country Sales Manager. At the end of 2007, he was named Director of Access and Government relations, position he held till his recent appointment as Pfizer Spain PCBU Director and Country Lead.
